Multiple OS
Discover which Operating Systems you can run on your server.
Every PC or server is run by an Operating System - the low-level software which interacts with the hardware, including peripheral devices such as a mouse or a printer, and any apps that are present on the system. Any program input through a command line or a Graphical User Interface (GUI) is processed by sending an Application Program Interface (API) request to the OS. On a web server, every single app runs within the parameters set by the OS as well - priority, physical memory, processing time, etcetera. This is valid for both standard website scripts and server-side software like a media server. When a virtual server is created on a physical one, there can be two independent Operating Systems, referred to as guest OS and host OS, so you will be able to set up a different software environment on the very same machine.

Multiple OS in Dedicated Hosting
The
dedicated servers that we offer can be installed with as many as 3 different Operating Systems since we want to give you more versatile plans which will allow you to install and run any kind of web software whatever its system requirements. The options are CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu and these 3 OSs are among the most stable and risk-free ones, not mentioning that they don't have any kind of license costs. All three have thousands of developers who have created a huge number of software packages that you could install and use on your web hosting server. We also offer three internet hosting Control Panels and which one you can use is determined by the Operating System that you choose when you sign up. If you need a different OS later on, it will not be a problem as we can always reinstall your machine. With our Managed Services package we could also keep your OS secure by upgrading it on a weekly basis with all patches which are available for it.
